Artist Statement & Bio
Bonnie Keane is a contemporary abstract artist known for dynamic mixed-media work under her brand, Fluidz By Keane. Originally from California, she relocated to the Tampa Bay area of Florida in 2014 to pursue her art career full-time. With a Bachelor of Science degree, she uses her love for physics and chemistry in her unique painting and sculpting technique. She loves the aesthetics of her art, but the underlying science has sustained her enthusiasm over the years.
As a self-taught artist, she allows the paints to circulate spontaneously. Her own proprietary technique to hand-sculpt infused epoxy is incorporated into the process.
Inspired by science, her work resembles things found in nature like oceans, glaciers, geodes, and skies. Her work has been sold to collectors internationally, and you can find her participating in fine art festivals throughout the region.
