Turbulent Tranquility is an original acrylic painting on canvas measuring 24" x 36" x 3/4".  The reflective glass "sandbar" sparkles amongst the turbulent waves as they crash upon it. The beautiful depth of the "water" with shadows of deep aqua blues and greens swirl on both sides captures the perpetual motion and serene beauty of ocean waves. The sculpted waves  against the sandbar mimic the frothy surf cascading over the sand. Comes signed on the back and ready to hang in both the horizontal and vertical postions. 
 
Care instructions for artwork:
Epoxy resin which contains UV inhibitors and HALS (Hindered Amine Light Stablaziers) are used but may yellow over time with exposure to sunlight. Keep all art out of direct sunlight. Resin can be scratched and marked. Avoid the use of abrasive cleaners. Clean with a window cleaner (like Windex) and a soft cloth. To remove dust in the textured areas, use a microfibre duster or non-residue compressed air.  I also use real crushed reflective glass and some pieces can be sharp. Be sure to handle your art with care. Each piece is a one-of-a-kind original. Due to these pieces being handmade, they may have small imperfections (fine bubbles, small particles, etc.) in the resin. I try my best to make each peice as perfect as possible, but I am only human.
