Have you ever seen the movie Dune from 1984?  It was set in the year 10191, a spice called melange is the most valuable substance known in the universe, and its only source is the desert planet Arrakis.  Well there was a Castle Caladan in Dune and this is what my piece reminds me of.  Very unique and so much depth that the images do not do it any justice.  It is an original acrylic painting on canvas and it measures 30" x 40" x 3/4".  It is set in a striking solid black floater frame and is ready to hang and signed on back.

Care instructions for artwork:

Epoxy resin which contains UV inhibitors and HALS (Hindered Amine Light Stablaziers) are used but may yellow over time with exposure to sunlight. Keep all art out of direct sunlight. Resin can be scratched and marked. Avoid the use of abrasive cleaners. Clean with a window cleaner (like Windex) and a soft cloth. To remove dust in the textured areas, use a microfibre duster or non-residue compressed air.  I also use real crushed reflective glass and some pieces can be sharp. Be sure to handle your art with care. Each piece is a one-of-a-kind original. Due to these pieces being handmade, they may have small imperfections (fine bubbles, small particles, etc.) in the resin. I try my best to make each peice as perfect as possible, but I am only human.
